We will stop now on one of the most typical streets in the town that reflects part of the most recent history of our village.
Valdemorillo during the Civil War was in the Republican zone. After the intense bombings of the battle of Brunete, in July of 1937; the village was totally destroyed.
At the end of the war, this street was rebuilt by the "General Direction of Devastated Regions", following three models of rural house, with two floors and a back patio.
This patio was generally used as a small orchard or to raise animals that at the same time served to subsist. You could enter to these houses through a gateway where you could certainly pass through farm tools and even a small cart.
On the whitewashed facades you can see balconies, all the same and symmetrical, therefore the name of the street.
